I love this clock! I bought the big one for my daughter, then bought the smaller one for me. I love the bird sounds and the modern design. It gives me joy every hour!

I love the looks of the clock but it doesn't count the hours correctly even tho I have reset it. At 10:00 this morning it coo coo'd 18 times. It hasn't coo coo'd the correct amount of times for the correct time since I've had it even tho I reset it twice and I know I did it according to directions. I don't know what else to do and this is very disappointing considering it was on the expensive side.

Turn the clock around
Turn the knob clockwise to 5:50
Insert 3 AA batteries 🔋
Slowly turn clockwise to 6:00
The bird will cuckoo 12 times 🎵
1 hour = “cuck-cuckoo”
Continue clockwise to the current time
Pause for ±1 second at each full hour
Select the volume: MAX · MIN · OFF 🔊
Night mode: quiet from 10 PM – 6 AM 🌙

Why does the time move counter clockwise when turning the time setting knob clockwise? The time setting knob is so tiny I can barely grip it to turn it. Following the directions does not make the cuckoo clock work.

You are turning the knob the wrong way. :/

Cuckoo sound is a bit muddled. But will see as only heard it once so far!

We adore our new cuckoo clock. It is bringing smiles and some whimsy into our home.

Disappointed because the chirp is not the same as the round clock I originally purchased. It is not as much fun to hear.

It's really cute, just wish the cuckoo chirp reflected the real time....can't quite figure it out.

It’s impossible to get the cuckoo to coordinate with the time. I also called the number and was told that it was full then I tried to give them an email and it doesn’t work. So the clock strikes 27 or 28 times I can’t get it to coordinate at all. I think what I’m gonna do is ask them to replace this product or to refund me my money, but I don’t even know how to get in touch with them to do that so if you published this, I would recommend people not to buy it because I waited three months to get it and it doesn’t work right.

Does the bird count the hours?
Yes — the Kleine is a traditional cuckoo. It calls once at one o'clock, twice at two, up to twelve times at noon. If it calls the wrong number, the bird is out of step with the hands; re-sync it using the steps below.

Will it wake me up at night?
No — automatic night silent mode from 10pm to 6am. The clock runs on a 24-hour cycle, so when setting an afternoon or evening time, turn past noon so it knows it's PM.

Can I control the volume?
Yes — three volume levels plus mute, adjusted via the volume knob on the side.

Wall or shelf?
Both. The flat base lets it stand on any shelf, desk, or console. A keyhole on the back is used for wall mounting.

How do I set the time?
Turn the clock around and set the knob to 5:50. Insert 3 AA batteries. Slowly turn clockwise to 6:00 — the bird will sound. Keep turning clockwise to the current time, pausing about one second at each full hour. Only turn the knob clockwise, and never move the hour hand by hand — this keeps the cuckoo in sync. 3 × AA (not included). Replace annually. Duracell or equivalent recommended.
